If you place the terminal on an existing wire, the wire breaks.
(Optional) Select Yes to insert the symbol on the drawing and select a location. Select Close Block Editor from the block editor toolbar. (Optional) Click Details to see the Symbol Audit dialog box listing potential issues with your symbol. (Optional) If you are going to add the symbol to the icon menu at a later time using the Icon Menu Wizard, check Icon image. This is defined by the WDTYPE attribute value of “1-” on the symbol, or a “1-1” on a one-line bus-tap symbol. However, the symbol name does not define the symbol as a one-line symbol. For convenience the one-line symbols provided have a “1-” suffix. One-line symbols follow the same naming convention as schematic parent and child symbols. Avoid changing the first four letters of the file name and limit the total length to 32 characters. AutoCAD Electrical provides a default name for the new symbol based on the attribute template selected. Enter the Name and file path or keep the default. These are found on the Files tab of the Options dialog. 
AutoCAD Electrical locates symbol source (DWG) files in the following locations: Directories defined within AutoCAD's Support File Search Path.
dwg file, while Block creates the symbol for this drawing file only. Causes: The source DWG file for the symbol you've inserted does not reside in a directory location defined within the active project's library paths.
Click Base Point: Pick point and select the center of the rectangle. Block Editor Environment: Once you make the initial selections, you enter to the Block Editor environment. Click Symbol Builder tab Edit panel Done. Have you found out how to sort this issue? I am desperate to know how. But when I insert the symbol to the schematic diagram, it inserts the previous one. 
I Have checked the symbol drawing, it is the latest one.
I am experiencing same issue with the overwriting the symbol in the symbol builder. I have been able to save them as a separate file as a workaround but my symbol library is starting to get muddied up with so many different versions of each symbol. Can anyone help me with this? I have 22 MCC's (72" x 72") to design and this is really hindering me. However, when I try to insert the symbol, none of the changes I made show up it is still the original symbol I created. After making my changes I am prompted if I want to overwrite the existing files, and I select yes. The problem I am having is when I want to edit those symbols I created. I am fairly new to AutoCAD Electrical but I have created some symbols using the symbol builder.
